- Fresh plums, halved and pitted500 g
- All-purpose flour0.5 cup
- Sugar0.5 cup
- Eggs3 large
- Milk1 cup
- Vanilla extract1 tsp
- Salt1 pinch
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 190°C (375°F). Generously butter a baking dish or cast-iron skillet.
- Arrange the plum halves, cut-side up, in the bottom of the dish.
- In a blender or a bowl, combine flour, sugar, eggs, milk, vanilla, and salt. Blend until you have a smooth, thin batter.
- Carefully pour the batter over the plums in the dish.
- Bake for 35-45 minutes, until the clafoutis is puffed, golden brown, and set in the center.
- Let it cool slightly and dust with powdered sugar before serving warm.
